A Broken Spur Riding Academy was founded in October of 2020
Originally established as an Adaptive Riding Program to serve children, adults, Veterans, those with special needs, and those able bodied. We have expanded our programs over the years and always looking for new innovative ways to help the community with our equine assisted services and therapeutic horsemanship programs, whether it be physical or mental health. A Broken Spur Riding Academy is Center Member of Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH), a global authority and advocate for equine-assisted activities, therapies and equine assisted services and therapeutic horsemanship programs that inspire and enrich people with their care and love for connecting horses with humans. We eventually hope to achieve with the collaboration of Physical/Occupational Therapists and Mental Health professional, both Hippotherapy programs and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy programs in the future.
